AFAIK, the laws of the state you are licensed in determine what you can do
in another state. With a few exceptions, if it is legal to drive/tow
whatever you are in in your own state the state you are visiting allows
it... one obvious exception is triple trailers in states like Ca.. they are
legal in neighboring states, but not here.
Where's the Philadelphia atty when you need him?

PS: side point: ( I lived just outside Dallas in the mid 80's, knew the
motor vehicle code and other laws then ) Texas is/was .... proud. When I
was transferred there in '82 they refused to trade data with California on
what traffic violations you had... Tho I had none, I always loved Texas for
that attitude. <g>
