Jon, I have one of those WWII mounts for 30BMG, 50BMG, and BAR and used it
with my NE Firearms 1918A2 live BAR at the first Op Cobra battle in NE a
couple of years ago. It drew some attention and also chewed up some of the
SS. They only thing I discovered was that one needs to cut some rubber
spacers for the pin to keep the BAR from sliding back in forth and
hammering on the BAR. It was fun, but 20 rds goes all to fast.
