Hello listers:
This may have gone twice as the system shut down during posting???
Hope you don't get it twice??

Here is a link to some pictures from this past Sundays meet of our local
chapter NY-Penn. / Picnic

We live next to a county park. Each year the local Antique Car club host a
huge antique car show and Flea market.

What is really neat is that we hold our small meeting the same day in our
back lot. You know, the smouldering log pit corn roasted over the fire -
hamburgers salads - some foamy and regular pop ...etc.

The neat thing is that to get into the big show in the park all public has
to walk by our back lot. We see thousands go by on a nice day.

So, two years back we diecided to use this "built in crowd" to further our
club and activities... while promoting these old Willys and trucks etc.

Well, the forecast was rain.
However, no rain till mid afternoon.

We had a nice, nice crowd check out the vehicles that were in our display.
This display included a LaFrance fire engine with a 100 foot ladder extended
with an huge American flag overhead. Later, after the rain set in the crowd
in the park left in droves. I took some pictures. At that point the fire
ladder was lowered to one extended section. The crowds were gone, and we
enjoyed the afternoon under the tent.

Check out the Russian two wheel drive motorcycle and sidecar.

There are 190 other pictures in this link besides the ALBUM (Willys Jeep
