from what you say, it sounds like your air pack is doing nothing. open
the service line in the rear (drivers side) and apply the brakes. air
should come out in proportion to how hard you apply pedal pressure. if
not you have a control valve problem. rather than removing the drums,
you can get a pretty good idea by removing the inspection cover (you
still have to remove the wheels) i would plan to replace all the hoses
just because they are relatively cheap. all the hoses from memphis are
less than $80. shoe sets are available for around $45 per axle, and
after market wheel cyls are available for less than $25 get a copy of MV
magazine for many sources.
