get a manual.........you will need it for everything else!!
remove the four small screws that hold the window stops and reach to the
far side of the window and remove the clips that hold the window to the
regulator. once you get one of these off you will see how they work
making it easier to do the rest. you can now slide the window all the
way out the top getting it out of your way. you can now remove all the
screws that hold the door latch mech. most of the ones that do not work
are broken and need to be replaced. there are no adjustments. there are
two plastic wedges in the door jamb where the door closes. these must
slide easily. they can be removed by pressing in with a small
screwdriver and then moving the outer end towards the middle.
tom, who has had EVERY nut, bolt, screw, wire, and part completely
apart.
(i should have counted how many pieces there in a m-35!!)
