The pyrometer thermocouple is important and it's worth expanding on the
subject.
Jonathan brings up Omega (1-800-826-6342).
Omega can supply probes for just about any application, including those that
are suitable for diesel engine exhaust manifolds. What's important is to
specify inconel sheething for the tip. Inconel makes the probe good to 2,100
deg F.
