WW1 trucks are sort of well....Model T ish....WWII has an Infinate
variety when you include British/US designs by companies owned by GM
(of Canada, or Vauxhall) or Ford (of Canada). AEC Matadors are
definitely peculiar looking. Canadian Pattern CMPs (Ford or Chevy)
are pretty interesting too.

Try WWII British. They are self diagnosing (if it's leaking it must
have oil in it), have really odd parts availability and are not a
dime a dozen at US shows. Besides, you have to like a vehicle that
has 3 different types of thread patterns (BSF, BSW, BSP) and perhaps
some SAE thrown in for lend lease bits.
