I've had two deals go sour on me and had decided to just keep it, but I
moved and don't really have room anymore, besides I really always wanted a
flatfender-
1952 M38A1 dod 9/52 s/n 1754. Used by Kalamazoo County in Michigan and has
been sitting in various garages for twenty years. Purchased from a collecter
friend the carb has been and brakes have been rebuilt and synthetic fluid
added. It has repro back seat and top bows, original winter soft top, still
24V and almost complete. The carb is a civvie and the air cleaner assy has
been removed. The tank was replaced 5 years ago. body is good to fair, with
no major rust outs, but a lot of dings and some channel rust. The tailgate
was cut out, and i purchased a replacement panel from another M38A1 which is
currently just bolted into place to hold the gas can and spare. 5 original
rims and tires, with 2 extra NDT's in new condition. Jeep runs well, I put
about 100 miles on it, but the seals leak and the wiring harness needs to be

Price: $3400 or trade for flat fender in like condition.
I'm located in the twin cities, southwest corner (eden prarie, to be exact)
and can't really ship or deliver the vehicle (no trailer, no hauler).
