Interior dimensions can be found in either TM 9-8023-3, Ordnance Maintenance, Body and Auxiliary Equipment for 2 1/2 ton 6x6 cargo trucks M34,M35 Dump trucks M47,M59 and shop van truck M109, dated October 1955 (I bet that TM is not on ANY CD!), for in FM55-15.

147 in long, 88 inch wide, 14 inches tall interior
152 1/2 x 96 exterior.

BTW, the same nifty ancient manual will tell you the bed was made by Oneida Products. This is the same folks that made the body for R-2 crash trucks, converted CCKW in to bridge bolster trucks, and quiet likely made the flatware on your dinner table.
