on the issue of radiators.........i have a m-656 which has the highest
output lds engine ever produced. on top of that i have turned the fuel
up. the radiator is the same size as a m-35 and it never runs hot. my
m-35a8 with the cat 3208 still has the original radiator and it does not
run hot. i think that when there are overheating issues it may be
because of the age and flow available in the radiator. to test the flow
of a radiator, drain the coolant, disconnect all hoses, and while
holding your hand over the lower connection fill the radiator with
water. once it is full, remove your hand. the water should flow out
quickly and all at once. if it comes out lazily the tubes are
restricted.
