Oh, that reminds me. After the one time I was stopped by a cop who
had the "terrorist with a tank" call, I did make a call to the local
county police department to ask if they needed some kind of
description about the vehicle so as to help filter out he loons that
think a terrorist would drive a tank around.
They said "if it's street legal and people have a problem they'll
just have to deal. That includes the dispatchers and the officers in
the area in that they'll just have to learn its not a problem." It
was both discouraging and encouraging that the senior police officer
I spoke to decided it wasn't even an issue.
