For us the original Fed Ex always works great, Fed Ex ground or home
delivery or whatever they call it is the worst ever. Takes weeks for
anything, the tracing says out for delivery, then back at the terminal, then
out for delivery, etc. When called they never know anything and always say
"you'll have it by 7:00 tonight". I'm at the point now that if a vendor has
to use FedEx ground then I place the order somewhere else. Maybe I have to
pay a little more for freight, but at least it gets here. BTW, this is for
regular business deliveries, not just a few occasional purchases.
Maybe it really depends on the local terminal and the manager there. Who
knows?
