 My $.02 worth.

I just bought my first "army" truck this year because I finally had a use
for it. I have always wanted one, but lets face it, they just are not as
practical as a car. Even my crappy Mach 1 could be driven by my wife. I
had a 4 x 4 dodge that was real junky and she could not drive it. I could
never afford to keep up a vehicle for just me. Even before I got married I
always considers what the young ladies wanted. I sold the Dodge several
years back and bought a Wrangler. It out performs the old dodge, and you
guessed, my wife enjoys driving it.

I try to convince folks that an old army thing would make a great
conversation piece and a suitable spare vehicle. The off road capabilities
make it a great vehicle to take down to the grocery store when the roads
are
 bad too.

In all reality though, this list and the internet in general will do more
to
promote the hobby than most things. If I didn't have internet access I
still would be looking in the local trader magazines for an old army truck.
Information is power (or is it knowledge) and the net has lots of it.

Just a few thoughts,
 Joe Trapp
