Its a land based vehicle/weapons system. The chassis is common with a
med recovery vehicle and with several other howitzer/gun systems.

The gun mount is set up on a turntable that has some deflection to
either side. I don't have my books handy which detail the entire
details, but they can train the gun through some range of azimuth,
probably at least 10-20 degrees to either side of center line. As far
as interfearance with the breech and recoil spade, the gun breech may
be able to be withdrawn when it's in transport (I'm not certain of
this), but when in battery, you've got plenty of room to load the
rounds from all the photo's I've seen. I'm sure some cannon-cocker
will speak up on this and explain further. Oh, the gun/chassis
configuration is Vietnam era.
