As I am sure many of you already know the Army has a manual
for this; TM 9-2610-200-14 "Care, Maintenence, Repair, and
Inspection of Pneumatic Tires and Inner Tubes" you can
download a pdf version at the logsa Electronic TM site.

It has many of the precautions that have been mentioned in
this thread as well as many more. I personally have never
had a problem with the style wheels that are on the M-35
but I am still cautious every time I inflate them from
flat.
