Mike,
I have been using a Palm Pilot for about 4 years now. I am on my second one. I
highly recommend it and palm has provided excellent service. My original Palm
III had a lose battery door. I lost it one day, called Palm, and received a new
one 2 days later, no charge.
Unlike the paper planners, you can not drop it as often, although the padded
case provides a lot of protection. I can attest.
Plan on taking a couple of months to get use to it. I started with my address
book and then planner which took about a month to get acclimated to. It took a
few more months to stop writing notes down on scrap paper though.
The Palm backs up to you PC which then provides an additional access to your
information, perfect for a spouse. I did not go with the color, but might for
the next one.

Still looking for an original set of rear seat hooks for a 42 GPW. (MV content)
