As an occasional shipper who packs properly, I am faced with these
costs:
new box: $1.00-$3.00
bubble wrap: $1.50/ft.
box tape: $.50/roll
gas $1.50/gal.
distance to UPS: 15 miles.
So when someone charges for handling, please take it into account it's
part of the entire shipping cost. There's cost recovery, and there's
incompetence/gouging. These are two different things.
