Well said Fred, and because we have someone of conviction and honor in
office they become an "easy" target.

MV content - Because of all the snow talk, I drove my "new" M35 (NO CHAINS)
out of the heated shop and directly into the snow bank at the end of the lot
(approx. 3 1/2 feet) with 18" on the other side. went right through the bank
(easy cuz it had traction) and then struggled through the 18". I did get out
to see if it was packing in front of the axles and it wasnt much sooo.....
maybe that helped. Low range DEFINITELY helped and I'm sure that lower tire
press would have made a diff. also.

By the way what effect does chains have on tire wear? Do you DARE drive a
short distance on NON covered roads?
