Unfortunatley (with the exception of the jeep) there is little market for books on military soft-skinned vehicles. Most military enthusiasts are more interested in armor and artillery. However with good laser printers available or by using small run print shops like Kinko's I don't see why someone who prepares a book on there own could not self publish it.
