I have a 1972 M35A2C that appears to have had something
mounted on the transmission cover just to the right of
the shifter. It left a mark 10" x 1 1/2" with 3 holes
with rivets still in the cover. I've looked at the M14/M16
rifle mounting manual and the base is not consistent with
holes or the mark left behind. What accessory would have been
mounted there ??????
