the tire balance is not a real issue on a deuce. tests have shown that
up to 16 oz out of balance is not noticed and balancing will make no
improvement. more than 16 oz should be taken care of. don't forget that
more than once there have been flaps left under the tube when a tire is
mounted. this will cause about 60 oz of balance problem. tire diameter
is critical in any case shocks or not. there must be no binding load
between rears. i run my deuce at 70 mph and it rides almost as well as
any pickup.
