Caleb,
Sounds to me like you have ignition problems. On my M135
(same engine as the M211)I encountered a problem with hard starting. After it finslly started, I pulled out of the
garage and it started missing, then stalled. I traced the
problem to the distributor points, so I cleaned them. It
started right up, but within a few minutes, it started to
miss, the quit. Points again. I had a bad condenser and it
was burning the points out fast. Replaced the condenser,
end of problem.
You know that you are getting fuel to the carb, so pull a
plug wire and check for weak spark. Could be points, coil,
condenser or distributor cap.
I'm not ruling out a possible fuel problem, like a sticking
float in the carb, or something else fuel related as mentioned
in previous posts.
