Is anyone making their own? If so, what diameter and what type of aluminum?
I haven't seen original ones for sale anywhere.
I would like to have a couple spares available. I found a place that sells
small quantities of 2011-T3 and 6011-T6 aluminum round stock, both appear to
be similar in shear strength, hardness, etc. I measured the diameter on the
pin that is iin my truck now, came out to about 0.290". The closest size
that I can find commercially is 0.3125".
