I drove to Waco and back.. pretty much nonstop, so no stop and go. I
also drove gently and paid attention to speed. This driving done
yesterday is more like the drive home when I first bought the truck,
kept the needle at 50 as best I could, and drove oh so carefully for
the 1100 mile trip home.
speed: 47 MPH (I discovered my speedometer says 50 when it is really
47.)
miles: 223
Gallons: 25.51
MPG: 8.74
13.5 % improvement. I think I can compare this also to the 7.7 MPG of
the first road trip home, which I consider the baseline.
