In my humble opinion, using the M35A3 instead of the Nam era deuce would
take away a lot of the romance from the around the world trip adventure. The
A3 is only about 10 years old or thereabout and would be much more difficult
to maintain with basic tools and spare parts.
The current engine problem (Michael Gooden) should be viewed as a test and
handled accordingly.
