Deuce build date help?

Having just picked up a deuce from GL (thanks to cliff - couldn'ta done it
without you!), I'm trying to find the manufacturer and build date.
Unfortunately, the data plate only has a hand scratched number on it - which
at least matches the frame number, 0125-28751.

Any ideas as to manufacturer and possible age?

Cab looks like it's an older one, still has the starter hole above the
accelerator, but engine, trans, and tranny were rebuilt or replaced in the
late '90's....
