Hello Jack...

I believe the antenna mount kits are designed to be mounted either on
the driver's side of the bed, toward the front, or on the back of the
cab.

The installation of the antenna, radio (yes, you are right...under the
passenger seat) and loudspeaker, is detailed in TB 11-5820-890-20-7
and TB 11-5820-890-20-8. Both of these are available on MILDOCS.COM.
In fact, I got all this info from MILDOCS.COM.
