I have a similar question, post 9-11, how difficult is it to import
British armor to the States? I've been offered what seems to be a
really good deal on a Ferret, but am unsure how good a deal it is if I
can't import the vehicle. Anyone have any experience with that?
Bill

I know from reading that getting the Form 6's signed
to import US-made armor is practically an impossibility
now. So we can't go off to southern BFE and bring back
the Shermans or Stuarts that we'd like.
But if this is the case, how did several collectors
(and a few businesses) get the papers signed to bring
in the M18 Hellcats and M36 Jacksons that have appeared
in the last few years?
Favoritism? Amount of $$ in the collector's bank acct?

Please don't flame - just curious!! :-)
