hi.
The other night I got good use out of my M35.
A local community holds the largest Night
Out celebration in the Pittsburgh area. This involves
Police, Fire, EMS, etc to form a long parade which
travels through the community visiting block parties
and community gatherings. This event shows how the
community and the police can work together to combat
crime, drugs, and violence.

Well, a friend of mine asked if I would like to carry the
local American Legion through the parade. I said sure, not
knowing that the parade covered just about all the streets in
the community and that there would be about 15 Legion members
in the back of the truck.

Well, what a night! The parade took over 2 and a half hours to
cover all the streets. The whole time, I had a 79 year old gentleman
in the front with me telling me all about what he did in WWII.
After, I had several other WWII vets telling me stories about
the use and abuse of vehicles during the war. What stories!

A great time was had by all. I now have a standing invite to
"parade" the Legion post around for parades and ceremonies.
Now I have the tough decision to use the truck for the scouts
or for the Legion post. (I think my son will influence any future
decisions :-) )

As others have said...
If you get a chance to use your vehicle for public events,
don't hesitate burning some fuel. It will be well worth it!
