I've been told by a surplus dealer that the Army had converted several M105
trailers series to a smaller axle setup with 16 inch, 8 bolt wheels to pull
behind the M-1008 series CUCV trucks.
Does anyone have knowledge of this. What type of braking system did they
use on the smaller axles?
