If you had bought a GMC with the banjo axles, maybe. Stude or GMC with
splits
I don't think so....

If you drive at 40 mph, the truck/engine will last forever. Drive it at 45
and you are
at the red line of the engine all the time. Try that in your car and see how
long
it lasts.....

My suggestion:
You bought a classic and rare (in the US) truck. Enjoy it at 40 mph or sell
it to
someone who will appreciate it and drive it 40.....
