Took me 15 minutes to get my tag for my Ferret. Brought in insurance
card and the Bill of sale. 4 minutes at the window when the clerk
wasn't sure what to class it as ("hmm not in the system like you
said, we'll just type it in" said the clerk politely) and it came up
with too much for ad valorem ("its from 1960, it shouldn't be that
much." said the clerk). So a manager was called over, a few pick and
pecks through different options on the data base and my tag reciept
was printing out. $20 tag fee and $4.20 for the tax.
