Hi Ron!
It is the fuel pressure switch, not a check valve. It is a Stanadyne part,
not GM. They don't sell them. They have the whole base complete for about
$200. Switch is only $10. Switch is the round part with 2 wires held in by
spring clip. It will cure the problem!

Subject: [MV] 6.2l diesel fuel problem

Does someone have the GM part number for the check valve that can be
purchased and installed in the rubber suction line before the mechanical
fuel pump that stops fuel drain back to the fuel tank?

    TIA Ron
