Pull off the line running to the carb and attach one of those cheap
pressure gauges available with the cone tip adapter. (about $10.00 at the
parts store) Crank the engine. If you don't have at least 2.0 psi of
pressure, you have a bad pump. Some diagnostic tools are cheap compared to
replacing good parts.
