Gives you warning that you have to do *something* (that 'something' is a master cutout switch on the front of both our M1010s); helps you out in troubleshooting ("by the way - that little light stayed on after I started it. Could that be it?") - and reminds me personally to stop off at NAPA on the way home to get another GPR109. :)
