M211 Transfer Case Questions

Friend of mine needs to know some things about the transfer case used in the
M211.

We know it has two outputs, one for each rear, plus a third output for the
front of course.

Questions are:

Are the two rear outputs locked together, gear speaking that is, or is there
some divider or overrunning clutch in there?

Does the front output spin the same direction as the rears, or am I thinking
of the CCKW where the front spins reversed?

How is the front engaged, is it a spline clutch type if thing or some sort
of overrunning clutch (sprague)?

Is there some inter-connection with the transmission such as the early M35's
had, if so what is the functioning of that interconnection?

Thanks,

je
