I don't recall if I posted these pictures before, if I did please over look
my poor memory.

I saw the pictures Wayne posted of the bucket truck in the quicksand (I
didn't know they had that in Georgia) and felt the drivers pain. Of course
we didn't have to get a wrecker to extract the John Deere, just a lot of
wood and cable.

I have done a lot of work in a neighborhood that borders Ft. Jackson and
they have a vehicle recovery training area very close to the homes. You can
see wreckers pulling just about anything down the dirt road that runs just a
few feet from the back yards of some of these home. They have a deuce and a
half in the training area that obviously is used to practice rolling the
truck back on it's feet. It was on it's side when I saw it, which made for
an easy undercarriage inspection. It looks a lot like the ones in Wayne's
photo's. I wonder what it looked like before it became a practice dummy.
