widely regarded in the european auto community as one of the few who really
know what he's talking about. I have also seen references to the use (or
reason to avoid) Armor-All and similar silicone-containing "protectants". I
have nothing other than a memory of a convincing argument to keep me away
from its use. YMMV, HTH. If you back out of this link a bit, and hit "How-To
Articles" you may also learn something for the canvas tops. If all else
fails, or you want a scientific reason as to why/why not, just e-mail Larry.
I understand he is very approachable, and if you need something he doesn't
carry, he'll tell you that, rather than try to make a buck.

And yes, this is a great list, although I must admit I have no idea what
half the things you all talk about are!
