Split rims have nothing to do with Budd wheels.

You can have split rims with Budd wheels, or with
wheels that go in trucks with cast spoke hubs or
with Chevy 5/10 bolt wheels. Budd is the system
for holding the wheel mounted to the truck and
for mounting duals. You can have 5-6-10-12 bolt
Budd wheels
