This guard will only mount on the outer holes....it's pipe, not angle iron
(Luverne??). I found a pix of a HMMWV with the outer holes being used for
the brush guard and the towing brackets mounted just behind the bumper!! I
looked at mine and there are holes, at a 45 degree angle on the side of the
frames, just behind the bumper, that the towing brackets will fit on!

There is no winch on mine (yet). Now, I'm thinking the displaced brackets
can be mounted just behind the bumper. The more I "think" the more dumb I
gets.
