I just had a phone call from a friend on mine. He was looking for Exide 6TL
batteries for his CUCV. I had bought some
locally last year from the Exide warehouse in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for
my HMMWV. He called them today and they told him that
as of last week, they had received a memo from the US Government and had to
return all batteries to the States because they
can no longer sell them. Has anyone heard of this?
