There is a handle, about two inches wide, sticking out of the left end of
the dashboard. It is marked "ENGINE STOP" and is located right next to the
main electrical switch. It is used to shut off the fuel going to the fuel
pump, via a choke cable-type mechanical arrangement. Maybe this is what's
busted? They are relatively cheap and plentiful among the parts dealers.
