The pipe as I envisioned it would be up high and not be a slid rail. The advantage of having an enclosed path would be if you were hip deep in mud and couldn't thread the cable back thru under your vehicle. I realize that retrofitting this onto an existing vehicle would be rough because this cable path would have to be fairly straight. This was thought up as something that would go on a stripped down Jeep.
