Are you sure that the on-off switch on your radio doesn't double as circuit
breaker too? The CX4720 cable is used on my intercom and goes directly to
the battery, but there is a circuit breaker in the on -off switch to handle
any overload.
What's worse is the possibility of reversing the connectins at the
battery...that will really fry some parts. A diode could solve that little
problem.
