Inaccessible Leaky Fitting at Injector Pump? (6.2L - CUCV)

I've had a fuel leak on my M1008 6.2L that has been steadily getting
worse. I was finally able to trace it to the lowermost injector
fitting from the injector pump roughly in the 6 O'clock position. Is
there any way to tighten up this baby without having to remove the
entire intake manifold?

I'm pretty sure that it is indeed from this one particular fitting. I
can see fuel emanating from the threads at a rate of just better than
one drip/sec. The rest of the injector pump looks dry as do the other
injector fittings. There doesn't appear to be any other source from
the center.

FWIW, I'm guessing the answer is no on this one. Any idea of how long
it would be for the job to remove the manifold, tighten the fitting(s),
and reinstall the manifold with the new gaskets? Even with the intake
manifold off, that bottom one sure looks like no picnic to get at. It
looks like I might perhaps even have to loosen others to get to it.

The really scary part is that I could do all of this and reassemble it
and still have it leak when it was all done unless there is a good way
to test for leaks before assembling. Are there any other tips with
respect to ensuring good seals when retightening the fittings?

Thanks,

plaz
