On 6 June, 2004 a group of re-enactors who model themselves after Co. C
, 18th Regiment, 1st Infantry, U. S. Army will do a living history display
recognizing the 60th anniversary of D-Day. They are not affiliated with
Mid-South Chapter MVPA. Vehicles that are going to be there include CCKW,
Half-track, several jeeps, WC63. WC 51, several machine gun revetments,
anti-tank 37MM cannon and other items.
This will take place at the Tennessee State Park at Pinson, Tenn. -- just
south of Jackson, Tn. on Hwy 45.
Everyone is invited to come view the displays.
