I don't know what happened yesterday if it was Dyslexia or Alzheimer's but,
In my emails referencing M1008's and M1009's I managed to get them backwards
on both my CUCV related emails..... So the odd thing yesterday was me...
Thanks for straightening me out...

So I was referring to the Pickup as an M1009 and the Blazer as the M1008....
That being the case let's try one of those emails again..... Since I
actually found two M1008's Yesterday.....

(clears throat)

I came across two M1008's today buried in the back of a used truck and
equipment lot that has allot of EX-GSA Stuff, Shumate Truck Center in Tampa,
Florida. One was an 86 with 44K and another was an 84 with 66K. They looked
like they have been sitting for well over a year. They are complete major
component wise it appears. They are missing odd tidbits here and there. One
has the remnants of the bed canopy frame. Rust wise they aren't bad. Tires
OK, interior rough, the usual 3/8" think coating of CARK slathered on. They
pretty much look like they were dragged from whatever DRMO they came from
and were dropped where they now sit.

Each had $5499 written on it's windshield and then crossed out.. I was
thinking of offering ~$3000 for the pair...

There is also an M1009 (painted White) on the lot for $3499 (It was $5499
also crossed out but it is now in the auto trader for $3499), an Dually CUCV
with what looks like a refrigerated/insulated box $5499, and an M1008 with a
Utility Bed (Painted White) $5499 (I think) Those three are all out front
and look like they arrived a little more recently.

I think his starting price is $5499 for any type of CUCV... I didn't ask any
questions, I couldn't find anyone around to ask. If anyone is interested in
anything, I can go back and take some pictures.

OK.... Now that I have that out of the way, I am going to go put my clothes
on inside out and drive backwards to work.

Thanks,
Kevin

Price.

The M1009s are six lug. The M1008s are 8 lug as are the M1010s and M1031s.
The M1028A2 (or -A3) dually is a pretty rare bird. Would like to see what
that goes for. As far as the M1009s, a pair of complete ones at $3000 is
probably fair if they let you try to start them. The market sure goes up
and down on them.
