You didn't describe a "a good used complete M1008" in your original
post. While $5000 would be about retail for a good daily driver it is
high for what you originally described. In my opinion, something that
was bought form DRMO a year or more ago and NOT fixed up is worth less
than what it sold for at auction. I also wouldn't give as much for
something that has gone through local government use since they tend to
drive them till they break and patch them up any way they can.

While what Ted said is true from his point of view, I could imagine a
situation were some local car dealer had bought what you describe at a
local sealed bid auction of some local government that was poorly
advertised for a couple of hundred dollars.

Did you post the pics somewhere or can you send them to me? I would
like to see them too.

Sounds like most of the real answers to you original post was off list
so it is hard to comment on them.
