That's good to hear, but when I called them 2 years ago and asked about
garaging requirements specifically they had to check, then advised me if
the deuce was not in a building with doors, a lock etc they could not
insure it. I tried the ' trained attack dogs on premises ' but they
required a building.

One thought: When I called all of the usual carriers/agents for historic
or hot rod vehicles I made garaging the truck my main point: some of the
reps I spoke to weren't sure. However when you get the policy the
language in there will be binding on you, whether the agent knew of it
or not. you can always sue the agent... but with respect to the actual
insurance carrier the policy ( along with how the courts are
interpreting it that week ) are the bottom line.

I can recommend Condon and Skelly (www.condonskelly.com). I'm paying
something like $100 for a 5 ton. They don't require something big like a
deuce or 5T to be garaged, because they are just too big to fit. They
write for Metlife, I think. No restriction on young drivers, either. I
have a teenager and they have no problem with him being a driver. We
have spotless records, too. Maybe that counts. Jim
