Pete-
If you take the bed off and mount a plastic or fiberglass horizontal
tank, you should have no problem with 1500 gal. A duece fuel or water
tanker has a 1200 gal steel tank and pump, etc. (very heavy) and is still
rated to go full speed, pedal to the metal, in all conditions.
When you consider that you will have a lighter tank, with mild terrain
and conservative driving, 1500 gal. will be a piece of cake.
